Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Putnam County Historic Courthouse. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 19 new citizens from 15 countries.

The Honorable Victor Grossman served as the officiating Judge and offered court remarks.
American Legion Post 1080 advanced the colors, Veronika Bilinski from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office sang the Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America. Putnam County Legislator Amy Sayegh led the prayer and Assemblywoman Dana Levenberg did the welcoming remarks. Karl Rohde, Director of the Putnam County Veterans Service Agency led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Leon Dener, who is an organ recipient was the guest speaker.
