The Putnam County Clerk’s Office is hosting its Fourth Annual Putnam County Passport Saturday at its office located at 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti is holding this event as a convenience to our customers who need to obtain a passport in time for the busy summer travel season. County Clerk Michael C. U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
