NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Putnam County Police Policy Review Panel formed pursuant to Executive Order No. 203 issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo on June 12, 2020, will hold a meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 10:00am, at the TOPS Auditorium in the Bureau of Emergency Services Building, located at 112 Old Route 6, Carmel, New York 10512.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the meeting will be open to the public via Audio Webcast due to the suspension of the Open Meetings Law pursuant to the Governor’s Temporary Emergency Orders in effect. Please check the Putnam County Website (www.putnamcountyny.gov) for the link information.

PUBLIC NOTICE – Amending Chapter 41 of the Code of Putnam County Entitled “Deposit & Investment Policy” adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on October 6, 2020 by Resolution R#173

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the County Executive of the County of Putnam at Room 300 of the County Office Building, 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512 on the 28th day of October at 4:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. concerning:

A LOCAL LAW

Amending Chapter 41 of the Code of Putnam County Entitled “Deposit & Investment Policy” adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on October 6, 2020 by Resolution R#173.

This Local Law amends Section 41-5 by amending the list of banks and trust companies designated as official depositories and authorized for the deposit of monies by increasing the maximum deposit amount for Putnam County National Bank, for Tompkins Mahopac National Bank, and for PCSB Commercial Bank subsidiary of PCSB from $10,000,000 to $20,000,000; and by amending Section 41-10(A)(2) by increasing the maximum amount which can be invested by the Commissioner of Finance through a cash management program from $10,000,000 to $30,000,000.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Putnam County Police Policy Review Panel formed pursuant to Executive Order No. 203 issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo on June 12, 2020, will hold a re-scheduled organizational meeting on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 10:00am, at the TOPS Auditorium in the Bureau of Emergency Services Building, located at 112 Old Route 6, Carmel, New York 10512. The originally scheduled meeting on August 6, 2020 was postponed due to the effects of Tropical Storm Isaias.

A LOCAL LAW Amending Chapter 145 of the Putnam County Code Entitled “Electricians, which was adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on December 18, 2019 by Resolution R#301.                                                                                                                                                 

This Local Law amends Chapter 145 of the Putnam County Code, which is entitled “Electricians” by amending several definitions of terms, expanding the composition of the board and the     qualifications of its members, amending the application period for licensing, amending the section regarding hiring, supervision and responsibility of master electricians, by amending notification requirements for change in employment and by allowing the shelving of licenses for journeymen.
