Calling All Parents and Child Advocates…

Living through a pandemic such as COVID-19 takes an emotional toll on children and families alike. In many ways this has never before been experienced. Social and physical distancing have changed our family, social and work environments. These changes impact children now and will continue to do so into the future. To provide resources available in Putnam and raise awareness about these effects from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Community Resilience Coalition (CRC) is hosting a 2-hour Zoom webinar open to the public on Tuesday, April 28, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The event, supported by the Putnam’s CRC and the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at the Earth Institute at Columbia University, will include speakers from the educational community, social services and mental health, public health and food security, and the domestic violence prevention sector. Each will give a short 10-minute presentation and a Q & A will follow. Registration is required at: https://bit.ly/crc-428
