The primary goal of the Town of Carmel Juvenile Aid Bureau is to reduce the number of youth under the age of 16 entering the juvenile justice system. The program is available to provide services to youth on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. Services include education, counseling and referral.

The primary objective of this program is to reduce juvenile involvement in crime. The program assists youth by providing guidance, direction and education through the school system. Objectives are accomplished through continuing cooperation from Social Services, Family Court, the Probation Department and local school systems.
