Workers Repair Pillars to Historic Putnam County Courthouse

CARMEL, NY — As the second oldest county courthouse still in use in New York State, it’s no surprise that the Putnam County Courthouse requires structural repairs from time to time.  On November 14, 2016, Putnam Highway Department workers, Joe Murdock, Justyn Lewis and Mark Semo, repaired pillars, which were added to the Courthouse during an 1847 renovation.
