WELCOME TO RECORDS CENTER & MICROGRAPHIC BUREAU

The Putnam County Records Center is a full-service mandated Records Management storage facility for all inactive records for all County Departments and the Towns of Southeast, Putnam Valley, Kent, Patterson, Carmel, and the Village of Brewster, and also the Town of Lewisboro in Westchester County.
 
The Records Center also provides microfilming, conversion from microfilm to electronic optical images, record retrieval, files management and destruction of records as per New York State Archives and Records Administration Record Retention Schedules for municipal departments and for State,      
County and local Courts and faxing of record requests.
 
The Records Center facility is protected by intrusion, smoke detectors, water sensors and motion monitor alarms.
 
If you need to request records, contact the appropriate County, Town or Village department with the Freedom of Information Process.
