How does it work?
The PWP is a collaborative effort to
effectively serve employers by supplying them with a qualified
workforce. This allows the PWP to achieve the following:
- Create a locally designed system of employment and
training services and programs.
- Maximize existing resources, eliminate duplication, and
increase available resources.
- Provide customer friendly workforce preparation
strategies and services for job seekers and employers.
- Increase the quality of services through technology and
inter-agency staff development.
Employers with vacancies are encouraged to
utilize this free service. An employer can save valuable
time by allowing the Partnership to prescreen job applicants
according to individual job specifications.
