I had a busy weekend!
Saturday Honored Joseph Perucci, Jr. for his achievement of Eagle Scout.

I will go to the Car Cruise at the Shop Rite Plaza.

Later that evening I attended the 2nd Annual Band Concert, given by 42nd Div. Army National Guard Band and New York State Guard Band at the Patterson Rec. Center in Patterson.
The Music Started at 7pm. Everyone was invited & Admission was Free!
Sunday I was at the Northeast Carpenters Picnic, at Camp Kiwi!

Local Law #7- Project Labor Agreements

Yesterday we held a Local Law meeting in our office. The meeting was held to amend Local Law #7 of 1998 in relation to consideration of Project Labor Agreements. Many Union workers came out in support of this amendment. Assemblyman Steve Katz was there also.

A FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic for pets of Putnam County residents will be held on Saturday, July 21, from 10 am to 12 pm at Hubbard Lodge, 2920 Route 9 in Cold Spring, NY. Bring photo ID as proof of Pu…tnam County residency and proof of prior rabies vaccination. (Tags are not acceptable. Without prior vaccination documentation, pets will receive a one-year vaccine.) PACT’s Transportation Guide

Getting around Putnam County can be extremely difficult if you don’t have a car.

The Putnam Accessible Community Transportation coalition (PACT) – a 26-member volunteer partnership of local nonprofit organizations – has produced a transportation resource directory which provides Putnam County residents with a comprehensive chart of current transportation options.

The PACT coalition is working to ensure that accessible, safe and affordable transportation is available to all Putnam County residents, especially low-income, disabled, elderly and veterans.

The Putnam County Department of Health is pleased to announce the creation of the Putnam County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). The purpose of the MRC is to recruit and train volunteers to support the county in the event of a disaster, whether the result of terrorism or natural causes.
