John F. Kennedy Catholic High School,and he received
both his Bachelors and Law degrees from The Catholic
University of America, in Washington D.C.
Dan started his service in local government as a
lifeguard at our town beaches during his high school and
college years. He started his County service as a
college intern in the County Executive's Office.
Thereafter he rose through the county government ranks
and was eventually appointed to the County's highest
appointed office, Deputy County Executive, in 1995 --
serving as the youngest person to hold that position in
New York.
Dan was elected as a Village Trustee in the Village
of Brewster in 2001, where he focused on the
construction of the Village's new sanitary sewer system,
implementing policies which improved the Village's
finances and drafting local laws to enhance the quality
of life for Brewster's residents.
