Putnam County has been my home for over 40 years. My wife, Anita was born here and together we raised our five children in this community. We own and operate a small business in Mahopac that we started over 37 years ago. In 2011, I was elected as County Legislator, bestowing on me the honor of representing the residents of district #5, which includes the Hamlet of Carmel, parts of Mahopac and Lake Carmel in the Town of Kent. I was honored to be Putnam County Chairman for 2014 and 2015. Being a local business owner and having a large extended family living in my district makes me very familiar with the many challenges my neighbors face day to day. My goal is to make Putnam County a more viable community where people and families can enjoy a quality and sustainable lifestyle. To achieve this, fiscal responsibility will always be a priority of mine. I support quality, controlled growth in Putnam to offset tax increases and create jobs for our residents. Being a parent of five wonderful children has been a key in my life where I have learned to effectively negotiate while maintaining positive and open communication. I utilize these skills in my public and professional role as a Putnam County Legislator and small business owner.
I truly love Putnam County and believe our community is a treasure. I am sincerely grateful to be able to use my skills and experience to do the work of my constituents.
I welcome the opportunity to speak with you. I can be reached through the Legislature Office: 845-808-1020 or at my Personal Office: 845-621-1000.
Again, I would like to thank my constituents for confidence they have placed in me and the honor of serving as a Putnam County Legislator.
