WHAT TO EXPECT

Drive-Thru Flu Clinics

Greeting & Appointment Confirmation
A nurse will come up to your car to greet you. Show them your appointment on your phone. You will get time to talk to the nurse/greeter to address any issues you might have.
Shot Area
Once instructed, drive forward to the vaccination area where a nurse will further discuss the vaccine with you. Stay in your car and make sure your sleeve is rolled up.
Receive your Shot & Proceed to Waiting Area
When instructed, make your arm available to the nurse. The nurse will then instruct you to go intothe parking area to wait 15 minutes before driving off.

Please proceed to the check-in table and show them your appointment confirmation. You will have time to talk to the greeter to address any issues you may have.
Shot Area
After the nurse has answered your questions, make your arm available for the shot. Once vaccinated, proceed to the waiting area for 15 minutes before leaving.
Receive your Shot & Proceed to Waiting Area
Once instructed, you will proceed to the vaccination area where a nurse will further discuss the vaccine with you. Please make sure your sleeve is rolled up.

This is an influenza clinic for individuals 18 years of age and older.
Masks are recommended.
Residents should download and complete the form prior to your appointment. Forms will not be available at the clinic.
The fee for vaccination is $30.00 for those 18 through 64 years of age. Only cash or checks payable to Putnam County Department of Health will be accepted.
Those 65 and older or anyone with a Medicare card can receive the vaccine free of charge if they show their Medicare card.
High dose flu vaccine is being offered for seniors age 65 and older.
Short sleeves are required to make it easier for the nurses to administer the vaccine in a timely manner.
