Lisa
Denig joined the County Executive’s Office as Chief of Staff in
2006 after serving for over four years as the Director of
Communications for State Senator Vincent Leibell. Ms. Denig
graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College with a degree in
Political Science and currently attends Pace Law School at night
in pursuit of a Juris Doctorate. Ms. Denig’s main function in
the County Executive’s office is to oversee and manage the
nearly 700 County employees that make up County government. Ms.
Denig works closely with the Personnel Director, Paul Eldridge,
to handle grievances, title changes and other workplace related
issues. Ms. Denig assists Mr. Bondi in negotiating contracts and
also offers support and advice during the budget process. Ms.
Denig has applied her experience in state government in the
County Executive’s office by helping out with legislation and
public relations issues.
