Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti Swears in 32 New Citizens at the Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 atPutnam County historic courthouse in Carmel, New York

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Putnam County Historic Courthouse, Carmel, New York.  Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 32 new citizens from 20 different countries.

Prior to the ceremony, the County Clerk’s Office greeted the new citizens and presented them with important information about passports and voter registration.

The Naturalization Ceremony was opened by the American Legion Post 1080 Color Guard.  The Hon. James T. Rooney, Acting Justice of the Supreme Court and Putnam County Court Judge served as the officiating Supreme Court Justice and offered court remarks.  Undersheriff Paul Boscia led the opening prayer.  Mr. Art Hanley, Deputy Director of Putnam County Veterans Affairs led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Mr. William Becker, an organ donor recipient and outspoken champion in the organ donation movement, gave the Keynote Speech.  Samantha Altman, a senior at Carmel High School, presented the gathering with beautiful renditions of the “Star Spangled Banner” and God Bless America.”

After the ceremony, a coffee and cake reception was held to welcome our newest citizens.

AT PUTNAM COUNTY HISTORIC COURTHOUSE

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Putnam County Historic Courthouse, Carmel, New York.  Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 34 new citizens from 22 different countries.

Prior to the ceremony, the County Clerk’s Office greeted the new citizens and presented them with important information about passports and voter registration.

The Naturalization Ceremony was opened by the American Legion Post 1080 Color Guard.  The Hon. Victor G. Grossman, Justice of the NYS Supreme Court served as the officiating Supreme Court Justice and offered court remarks.  The Hon. Donald B. Smith, Putnam County Sheriff, offered welcoming remarks as well as that of Assemblyman Kevin Byrne of the 94th A.D.   Mr. Dale Cusak, Chairman of the Putnam County Joint Veterans Council led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Mr. William Becker, an organ donor recipient and outspoken champion in the organ donation movement, gave the Keynote Speech.  Samantha Altman, a junior at Carmel High School, presented the gathering with beautiful renditions of the “Star Spangled Banner” and God Bless America.”

After the ceremony, a coffee and cake reception was held to welcome our newest citizens.

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti will host a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Putnam County Historic Courthouse, 44 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel. At the ceremony, Clerk Bartolotti will administer the Oath of Allegiance to 36 new citizens.

The Color Guard of American Legion Post 1080 will open and retire the ceremony. The Opening Prayer will be led by Sheriff Donald B. Smith, Jr. The Honorable Paul I. Marx will serve as the officiating Supreme Court Justice and will offer welcoming remarks. County Clerk Bartolotti will administer the Oath of Allegiance to 36 new citizens. Director of Veterans Affairs Karl Rhode will lead all in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Putnam County Historic Courthouse, Carmel, New York. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 24 new citizens from 19 different countries.
Prior to the ceremony, the County Clerk’s Office greeted the new citizens and presented them with important information about passports and voter registration.
The Naturalization Ceremony was opened by the American Legion Post 1080 Color Guard. The Hon. James F. Reitz, Associate Justice of the NYS Supreme Court served as the officiating Supreme Court Justice and offered court remarks. The Hon. Donald B. CARMEL, N.Y. – Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at the Putnam County Historic Courthouse, Carmel, New York. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 40 new citizens from 21 different countries.

Prior to the ceremony, the County Clerk’s Office greeted the new citizens and presented them with important information about passports and voter registration.

The Naturalization Ceremony was opened by the American Legion Post 1080 Color Guard. Hon. John W. Sweeny, Jr. Associate Justice of the NYS Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, 1st Judicial Department, served as the officiating Supreme Court Justice and offered court remarks. The Hon. Donald B. Smith, Putnam County Sheriff, led the opening prayer. Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell offered welcoming remarks. Director of Veteran Affairs Karl Rhode led all in the Pledge of Allegiance. Ms. Maria Martinez, Representative of Congressman Maloney’s Office was guest speaker. Board of Elections Commissioner Anthony G. Scannepieco, Jr. encouraged all new citizens to become registered voters and advised that it was the last day to register to vote in next year’s elections. Carmel High School 12th Grade student, Kayla Fuhst, presented the gathering with beautiful renditions of the “Star Spangled Banner” and God Bless America.”
