CIVIL AIR PATROL OF PUTNAM COUNTY THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE AUXILARY Cordially Invites Youto attend the Four Winds Promotion and Awards Ceremony

CIVIL AIR PATROL OF PUTNAM COUNTY THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE AUXILARY Cordially Invites Youto attend the Four Winds Promotion and Awards Ceremony

On Friday evening, March 31, 2017, there will be a special ceremonial meeting at 7:00pm

for Civil Air Patrol’s Putnam Composite Squadron NY-033 at the Bureau of Emergency Services,

112 Old Route 6 in the Town of Carmel, NY ,

As is the practice with the Civil Air Patrol to have the Cadet and Senior Achievement awards and promotions presented at our annual Four Winds Ceremony. It would be an honor for us if you can attend our ceremony.

Many young people find Civil Air Patrol to be an important and useful first step towards learning to fly, whether in private, commercial, or military aviation. Other Cadets join as a step towards attending the military academies or joining college R.O.T.C units. The only real requirement is a love for and curiosity about aerospace.

The Putnam County Composite Squadron has been in operation since 2001 and is based out of the Paladin Center, 39 Seminary Hill Road, in the Town of Carmel, NY 10512.

Civil Air Patrol, the official Air Force Auxiliary established Dec. 1, 1941, is a nonprofit organization performing more than 85 percent of land search and rescue missions in the continental U.S. as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center.

Our volunteers take a leading role in aerospace education around our community and serve as mentors to America’s youth through CAP cadet programs.

For more information about Civil Air Patrol and its various programs, go online to http://www.Putnammustangs.org or call 1st Lt. Joseph Baldanza @ 845-629-6546. Feel free to visit our meetings on the second floor of the Paladin Center on Friday nights from 7pm to 9pm. It is recommended that you call first to make sure we are there the night you would like to visit.
